Branxton Podiatry - Emily George

Graduating from her Applied Science Podiatry Degree at University of Western Sydney in 2007 Emily started her career in private practice in Sydney’s North Shore before moving to the Hunter region to start a life with her now young family and continue her career in Podiatry at a private practice in Maitland.

It was through her own personal history visiting the family Podiatrist from the age of seven that Emily developed a keen interest in foot health and biomechanics. Emily’s passion for assessing and treating foot injuries and ailments in all stages of life: from the young of age to the young at heart make her practice at Branxton Podiatry the perfect option for the whole family. Whether this be for general foot care, including nails and corns; diabetic assessments; ingrown toenails, heel pain, knee pain or full biomechanical assessments, with orthotic prescriptions Emily applies her passion and expertise in ensuring everyone who walks out the door does so with a complete treatment plan and the knowledge their feet are in good hands.

Emily has a special interest in paediatric foot care and foot pain and has continued to develop her Podiatry knowledge through additional courses and training into common complaints in children and the developing foot including gait and heel pain.

In her time off Emily keeps active with her 3 children – a delightful daughter and energetic twin boys who keep her busy, she also loves to enjoy a good meal and a good drop of the Hunter’s finest with family and friends.

Emily looks forward to welcoming you into her practice and helping you achieve better foot health whatever the problem may be.
